About us
Karen married into the Moilliet family in 1974. She and Ian have raised their 7 children on Aveley Heritage Sheep Ranch. For more than 4 decades Karen has hosted a multitude of guests in her home and accommodation cabins. She opened up the Heritage Cabin for guests in 2011.

Spring Special
With 700 ewes lambing, the month of April is spectacular. After guided tour, watching a ewe give birth, a hayride, teatime, bottling hungry lambs all out in the fresh air, you will fall into your cozy bed at the end of an amazing day.

May Weekend Special
Any Saturday and Sunday $250 (reg. $400) It is our most beautiful season. We provide binoculars and a map to a delightful river spot. Hummingbirds arrive in May. The bar-b-que patio is perfect for evening dinners (mosquito free in May.)

Need a romantic autumn weekend? Want a hunting pkg? Cozy up to the the inside wood stove after a vigorous hike, lazy day or bagging your hunt. Grill your favourite meal on the inside gas oven or the outside bar-b-que. Enjoy complimentary freshly baked apple pie!
